Q. Where is the park located?
A. 8770 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92618, adjacent to the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, just north of the El Toro "Y". From the 405 San Diego Freeway, take the Irvine Center Drive exit south ½ mile. From the I-5 Santa Ana Freeway, take the Bake Parkway exit to Irvine Center Drive and go north one block.
Q. What is there to do at Wild Rivers Waterpark?
A. Wild Rivers is a family amusement waterpark offering over 40 water rides and attractions for all ages. There are slides, inner tube rides, two wavepools, activity pools and lounging areas. The activities range from exciting, fast and thrilling to scaled-down rides and attractions for small children.
Q. What items are not included in the General Admission price but may be rented?
A. Rentals are done at Trader Robbie's Gift Shack. The Rental Shack offers Thunder Cove bodyboards, inner tubes, and lockers for all-day use. Bodyboards are available for $6.00 to strong swimmers who are at least 54 " tall. Inner tubes are provided at each attraction requiring them, but may also be rented for your exclusive use. Single tubes are $6.00 and double tubes are $8.00. Regular sized lockers are $6.00 and large lockers are $12.00 for all day usage. Parking is $10.00 per vehicle. Bus parking is free for pre-registered groups.
Although some personal life vests and some flotation devices are not permitted in the park, Wild Rivers provides these items as well as changing facilities at no additional charge.
Q. How old must you be to come to the park alone?
A. Parental consent is advised on this; however, it is recommended that an adult accompany children under age 10.
Q. Where are the closest hotels to Wild Rivers?
A. There are many hotels and motels close to Wild Rivers. In addition to those listed below, there are many major hotels located near the Orange County Airport (Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, etc.) approximately 10 miles from the park.

Q. Are credit cards and personal checks accepted to pay for admission?
A. For guest convenience, admission tickets may be purchased with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash. ATMs are located inside the park next to Trader Robbie's Gift Shop. Personal checks are not accepted to pay for admission.
Q. Can you leave the park and return the same day?
A. Guests may obtain a hand stamp at the exit gate which will allow them to leave and return the same day.
Q. Are facilities available for handicapped guests?
A. General entrance and exit facilities are available for handicapped guests. There is limited access to several rides and attractions. Some attractions do not have access for handicapped guests; however, our staff will make every reasonable effort to accommodate handicapped guests within our safety guidelines.
Q. Is picnicking permitted in the park?
A. Although personal food and beverage items are not permitted inside the park, picnic facilities for guests with personal food items are provided in an area adjacent to the exit gate on a first-come, first-served basis. Barbecues, alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited.
Q. Are there food stands at the park?
A. Food and beverage facilities are located throughout the park. Colonel Hawkins' Outpost offers sandwiches, french fries, snacks and beverages by Pepsi. Congo Café offers freshly baked pizza, fried chicken, chicken strips, sandwiches and salads. The Sweet Shop offers a variety of ice cream treats, funnel cakes, and candy.
Q. What about Water Safety, First Aid and Lost and Found facilities?
A. Wild Rivers staffs lifeguards who are certified by the American Red Cross in lifeguard training, CPR and first aid. A complete First Aid Station is centrally located in the park and is staffed by an EMT. Lost and Found is located near the main entrance to the park and is open during park operating hours only.
